Dr. Sharon Pennington -
Hematology
Dr. Sharon Pennington is a native of Brandon MS, graduating from the University of Mississippi with a degree in pharmacy in 2000. She subsequently received her medical degree from the University of Mississippi, graduating in 2004.
She completed her pediatric residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2007 and her pediatric hematology-oncology fellowship at Washington University in 2010.
She is dedicated to the treatment and care of all pediatric patients with hematological conditions as well as patients of all ages with sickle cell disease or bleeding disorders including hemophilia and von Willebrand disease. She is married to Ronnie Pennington and enjoys spending time with him, their children, and border collie Mozzie. She enjoys cooking and traveling, as well as reading really good murder mysteries.
